Ultra Music Festival Miami, the annual outdoor electronic music festival that occurs in March in the city of Miami, is a tropical gathering of electronic performers and thinkers, including house music, trance, dubstep, electro, and more!

DJs from across the world will descend on Miami’s Bayfront Park for Ultra Music Festival, the pinnacle of all electronic music events, to perform their most-anticipated performances of the year. Ultra 2022 will feature three days of music, pool parties, and fun in the sun!

The Downtown Neighbors Alliance and Ultra organizers “have managed to set aside their disputes and the legal debate that has lingered over the event since 2018, paving the way for Ultra’s return to Bayfront Park as the concert business progressively awakens.”

The upcoming Ultra Miami dates will be March 25 – 27, 2022. Undoubtedly, this is one of the top music festivals in the U.S. and the world.

Ultra 2022 Miami stages focus on different genres and types of performances, including Resistance Island, Live Stage, A State of Trance, Worldwide, Mad Decent, and more.

Ultra Music Festival Miami is a premium event geared towards adults 18 years old and over. Party people from around the world descend on Miami in late March to rave for three days.

It is considered to be the biggest outdoor electronic Music Festival. The gorgeous Bayfront Park is the main venue. Miami’s Ultra Music Festival draws a large crowd of participants, larger by each year.

Crazy outfits, neon, and a definite excess of exposed skin are staples of the 3-day electronic music rager down in Miami.

Ultra Music Festival Tips

With the enormous growth in the popularity of electronic dance music, it’s no surprise that many people will be going to Ultra Music Festival Miami.

Here are some tips from someone who has been going for years! Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. The last thing you want is sunburned skin or a headache from being out in the hot sun all day.

Pack light but bring necessities like water, food, and clothes that can get wet or dirty since things tend to happen when you least expect them at festivals (i.e., spilled beer). Be careful with drugs and alcohol because they can make dehydration worse.

Transportation & Where to Stay

The time has come! It’s finally here. The music festival for the year is coming up, and you’re not sure what to do about transportation, lodging, or how to get there.

Well, I’m here to help. Let’s start with transportation – car rental prices are always sky-high during this time, so you might want to consider public transportation like MetroBus, MetroRail, and the free MetroMover are just a few examples.

Taxis and ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft are also available. Many bus lines go directly from Miami International Airport over to Bayfront Park, where the event is being held.

Just make sure you purchase your ticket ahead of time because it is cheaper than buying them at the terminal! If you’re looking for a place to stay overnight, stay at a hotel in Downtown Miami or Brickell means you can walk to the festival grounds.

More about Ultra Music Festival Miami:

Ultra Music Festival was founded and produced in 1999 by business partners Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. Faibisch, who had attended Depeche Mode‘s Devotional Tour at the Miami Arena in 1993, named the music festival in honor of Depeche Mode’s 1997 album, Ultra.

The first festival was held as a one-day event on March 13, 1999. It coincided with the end of the Winter Music Conference. Inaugural artists at the 1999 fest included Paul van Dyk, Rabbit in the Moon, Josh Wink, and DJ Baby Anne.

The first Ultra Music Festival was held in Collins Park in Miami Beach’s South Beach. The festival proved popular, with an estimated ten thousand concertgoers in attendance.
