Housed on the Modesto Maidique Campus of Florida International University, The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum (formerly The Art Museum at FIU) opened in 1977.
The Museum’s growing collection has several notable donations of important groups of work. The Frost Art Museum’s innovative exhibitions and broad range of educational programs are unparalleled in their quality and the diversity of audiences they serve.
The museum is A cultural beacon for South Florida, with its exhibitions and public programs integrated into the life of the community as inextricably as its schools, recreational facilities and theaters.

Target Wednesday After Hours
Target has teamed up with The Frost Art Museum to sponsor the museum’s popular programming series Target Wednesday After Hours. Designed to complement Frost exhibitions, these events give visitors the chance to meet contemporary artists and engage with controversial art, live music, talks, films, dance and performance art.
Target Wednesday After Hours provide an excellent opportunity to meet and socialize with other people interested in the arts while learning more about the museum, exhibitions and artists. The events are free and open to the public and take place one Wednesday each month
