This event’s mission is to present quality films from around the world as well as support, recognize and honor filmmakers creating a films under 20 minutes. Founded to showcase Miami as a leader in contemporary film-making, Miami Short Film Festival aims to exhibit the most captivating and innovative short content, building an audience for short films as well as indulging its current dedicated followers.

Cinépolis Coconut Grove
Cinépolis Coconut Grove is one of Miami’s premiere theaters. With the Premier format, Cinépolis Coconut Grove offers both a traditional movie-going experience (featuring the theater’s popular reserved seating, Sony 4K digital projection, and expanded concessions with beer and wine), as well as four Premier auditoriums featuring luxurious leather oversized chairs equipped with attached swivel tray tables, perfect to hold your flatbreads, paninis and more from our celebrated Bar & Lounge.
Miami Beach Cinematheque
MBC is located in the Historic City Hall on South Beach, built by Carl Fischer in 1927. Restored and renovated by the Miami Beach Film Society, the space has a screening room, gallery, bookstore/library, and cafe.
North Beach Bandshell
This outdoor amphitheater, located in North Shore Park in Miami Beach, hosts a number of cultural events throughout the season, including performances from the Florida Dance Festival (in the month of June) and various other free musical and performing arts shows.
